Red Wind

Red Wind is a 1946 hard-boiled short detective fiction story written by Raymond Chandler. The story is based on the dry Santa Ana Winds known to hit Southern California during Fall season and how they affect the region and its people. The redesigned book cover was inspired by the tall skinny palms that sway over many streets in Southern California.
